As SLPs, each with over 15 years of experience in the school setting, sisters Megan and Jamie have personally lived through both the joys and challenges that come with a school-based SLP job. They understand the benefit of regular coaching and know firsthand how overwhelming a large caseload can feel. They started Speak Life Speech Services, along with their business manager and brother-in-law, Charlie, to help school-based SLP/As love their job and thrive! They all share a passion for coaching and developing their colleagues and strive to foster a workplace environment that feels team-centered, supportive, fun, and engaging...just like our therapy sessions should be! 

Megan has worked across 4 districts in the Central Valley. She has also supervised and coached numerous SLP interns, Clinical Fellows, and SLPA interns and knows the value of a positive coaching relationship. She has a passion for speech sound disorder therapy and loves to see students meet their goals and graduate from speech. Megan also spends some time working with the University of the Pacific as a clinical supervisor. 

Jamie has worked as an SLP for a Central Valley charter school for over 10 years. She later became a Special Education Program Specialist and has been in this role for 3 years. In this role, Jamie has learned the value of strong professional development, case management tools, maintaining compliance standards, and navigating challenging IEPs. Like Megan, she has also supervised SLP interns, Clinical Fellows, and SLPAs. She has a passion for organization and planning for therapy that makes our job run smoother!

Charlie is a true entrepreneur at heart. He has a Masters in Business and has worked in various business settings including startups, real estate, business development, sales, marketing, as well as supporting his wife's successful floral business. He is skilled in coaching and team building.  Megan and Jamie recognized Charlie's strengths in business development and knew they had to partner with him for their dream SLP business to take flight.
